Dr. Ashraf Lectures ("we," "our," "us") is a medical education platform based in Khulna, Bangladesh, providing online courses, question banks (QBank), flashcards, e-books, and career & counselling services for medical students, interns, and practicing doctors preparing for FCPS, MRCS, and related professional examinations.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have, whenever you visit drashraflectures.com or use any of our services. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
- Identity & contact details — name, email address, phone number, and postal address (if a physical book or material is shipped to you).
- Account credentials — username and encrypted password.
- Academic details — medical college/institution, current stage of training (student, intern, MO, resident), and area of interest.
- Payment details — transaction ID, payment method used (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or card), and billing information. We never store your full card number, mobile banking PIN, or OTP.
- Usage data — course progress, QBank scores, flashcard activity, video watch time, login timestamps, device and browser type, and IP address.
- Communications — messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, contact forms, or when booking academic/psychological counselling.

How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your student account and personal dashboard.
- To deliver the courses, QBank access, flashcards, and downloadable materials you purchase.
- To process payments and issue transaction confirmations or receipts.
- To arrange and provide academic or psychological counselling sessions you book.
- To send essential service messages — login verification, payment confirmations, course updates, and schedule reminders.
- To send promotional updates about new courses or offers, only where you have consented, and which you may opt out of at any time.
- To monitor, analyze, and improve our content, platform performance, and user experience.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, or misuse of the platform.
- To comply with applicable Bangladeshi laws and respond to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities.
Payment Information
We accept payments through bKash, Nagad, Rocket, and major debit/credit cards. All transactions are processed through licensed, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways operating in Bangladesh. We do not store your complete card number, CVV, or mobile banking PIN on our servers — these are handled directly and securely by our payment partners.
Refunds, where applicable under our Terms & Conditions, are returned to the original payment method within the timeframe specified by the respective payment provider.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your course progress, understand how visitors use our website, and improve the overall experience. Our platform is intended for medical students, interns, and practicing doctors who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
